3、 Fire resistant glass definition:
Fire resistant glass is a kind of safety glass. After special processing and treatment, it can block the flame and smoke, prevent the spread of flame, and maintain integrity, stability and transparency within a certain period of time.
4、 Fire protection principle:
Ion replacement improves strength. The cesium potassium glass is made by physical and chemical action, and the single piece float glass is reprocessed in a special tempering furnace. Na + in float glass is replaced by high concentration of K + and CS +. Because the radius of K +, CS + is much larger than that of Na +, compressive stress will be produced on the surface of glass. In addition, physical toughening can make glass obtain higher pressure and improve strength.
5、 Production process of fireproof glass:
Cutting: to cut the original plate glass into the required shape.
Edge grinding: use the edger to grind the four sides well to prevent the chips from exploding during tempering, and ensure the beautiful appearance at the same time.
Fire prevention: spray the fire-proof liquid evenly on the glass surface, and complete the exchange of cesium (CS +), potassium (K +) and sodium (Na +) in one hour under natural state.
Cleaning: clean the glass with a cleaning machine.
Tempering: put the glass in the tempering furnace, raise the temperature to about 700 degrees, and use the fan to reduce the glass temperature to about 40 degrees in an instant.
6、 Characteristics of fireproof glass:
High fire resistance: as a kind of curtain wall or door and window glass with fire protection function, it can keep 90-120 minutes without cracking under 1000 ℃ flame impact, so as to effectively prevent the spread of flame and smoke, which is conducive to the rapid detection of fire and make people have enough time to leave the scene.
High strength performance: in the same thickness, its strength is 6-12 times of ordinary float glass and 1.5-3 times of tempered glass.
Safety performance: in case of damage, the high-strength single piece fire-proof glass is in the form of small particles and obtuse angle, so as to ensure that it will not cause great harm to human body in case of earthquake, fire or strong destructive force.
High weather resistance: characterized by high weather resistance. The high-strength single piece fire-proof glass is the same as the ordinary glass in the ultraviolet radiation, it still keeps the permeability function without any change.
Machinability: it has good machinability and can be processed into laminated safety glass, insulating glass, coated glass and point type curtain wall glass.
